Moles

Blog Post #1
(November 4, 2015)

Today, our class lecture revolved around the mole, or 6.02 x 10^23 to be exact.
The Mole is "the SI unit of amount of substance, equal to the quantity containing as many elementary units as there are atoms in 0.012 kg of carbon-12."

There are four key steps to solving a mole:
  1. Decide what the question asks.
  2. Write down all the given information.
  3. Label all quantities.
  4. Start with what is given and decide the path to end up with the right answer.
