Altair
(Alpha Aquilae)
Altair is the brightest star in the constellation Aquila and the 12th brightest star in the night sky.
It is an A-Type main sequence star with a magnitude of 0.77 and is one of the vertices of the summer triangle.
Altair rotates at approximately 286km/s. Therefore, Altair is not spherical, its poles are flat due to the fast rotation.
